It's been 2 years since the redesigns from Sonic's Cafe have been sent off from most civilization. All has seemed good since then, with no sign of Dr. Eggman to the masses of the world, everything had been at peace...
Meanwhile, in a small warehouse, the four redesigns had been resting here since, staying for the last two years in seclusion. Having fixed up their bodies back to normal, Tails fixing up his hooked hand, though losing his eye again in the process.
Though bad news began to spread... Tails noticed that someone is destroying the areas of the city where their restaurants were built and no one is opposing it, Mario offers to fight this someone, thereby proving that they are not just restaurant mascots, implying they got the same powers of who they were redesigned after. Sonic asks Tails to do something to help them win, and he agrees to do it.
Tails creates the Doppel-Buster Arm Cannon 45 minutes later, and after that, all four go to save the city.
It's confirmed that, in the good ending, Dr. Golden would turn good and Dr. Eggman's soul would perish.
