Considering the really early stages, there's some obvious fixes that I won't mention, but here's some stuff to keep in mind while you're developing it.
Sound effects add a LOT to any game.
I love that effect you have the glass wall barrier, or whatever it is. It's really cool, whatever you did with it.
Look into Layers/clipping masks for cameras. It'll prevent the players arms from clipping into the walls when you walk up near them.
I do like the art style you guys are going for, very colorful. The particle ambiance is very comforting. Fits the theme you're going for.
Mess around with the "bias" setting on the directional light you have in the scene, you'll find that some shadows will be smoother.
It's certainly not off to a bad start, it's pretty neat, and I like the theme you and your friends are going for. Keep it up, man.
This is a school project game me and my friends have been working on over the last few months.
Seeing as this is the first game we have all ever made it was a difucult ride, but one we have taken joy in riding.
The game is still in REALY early acces as there is not even a menu of any kind yet, sooo you will need to force quit the game.
The game so far is just a "run and gun" type game with no purpuse at the moment.
you can't win, and you can't lose.
It's just so we have a working game to show off and hopefully make better versions and games in the future. #shooter #action #adventure #rpg
