Discover UNDERTALE RESOLVE, an orignal take on the human with the Purple Soul, in a fan-made prequel to the hit indie rpg UNDERTALE!

When Mary, a young child full of imagination, falls in a mysterious world during one of her investigation, they find themselves deep within the Underground. But are those monster foes, or can they be redeemed?

In this full-length fangame to the friendly RPG where nobody has to die, you decide how every encounter plays out, may it be for good or evil. From mysterious allies to dangerous foes, you decide the fate of the young Mary deep in this forgotten kingdom.

Scenario

When Mary, a young human child, fall in the Underground during one of her false investigations, she discovers a forgotten kingdom full of monsters. The caretaker of the RUINS, Toriel, helps the young child to go through this maze full of puzzles. But a strange force push Mary down in the OLD RUINS, the ancient city where monsters once lived. Here, Mary meets Inksworth, a small monster asking them to help write the best story the Underground ever saw with a special magical Notebook.

FAQ

When will this game come out?
- We can't say anything. We first need a team, so if you read this, please talk to everyone you know whom may be interested. As soon as we have a functioning team, we'll start, as all the basics are already thought of. We'll try to release a demo of the Old Ruins, and maybe with the Stormy Valley (which is the second Zone).

Why are you making this project when other project about the purple soul already exists?
- We wanted to tell our own story with this soul, which is in our favorite soul of the 7 we know. As soon as we thought of the writing system with the Notebook, we knew we had to do this.

Did Toby Fox gave his validation for this game?
- We think it's well known now, but Toby doesn't really mind fangames as long as we don't make money with it. It is unfortunately why, for now, we can't pay anyone who joins Team Resolve.

Is this connected to Undertale Yellow?
- Yes and no. UTY is the game that pushed us into game development, in particular toward this fangame, so there won't be anything contradicting UTY's lore (although UTY only talked about the Blue and Yellow soul). However, we have no official connection to Team Yellow, so it is not directly linked. Interpret it as you want.

When does the fangame takes place?
- As we go with the object order, Mary will be the fifth fallen child, and the fourth that Asgore ordered to kill (as Chara fell before the other). Mary will fall directly after the Blue Soul, and just before the Green Soul.
