I've spent approximately a year developing this game, drawing inspiration from the now-defunct MMORPG, Tales of Pirates, which ceased operation in 2016. Tales of Pirates was a 3D adventure set in the Viking age, offering players the opportunity to explore a vast ocean, engage in battles against pirates and sea monsters, and align themselves with different factions. The game featured a unique control scheme involving both keyboard and mouse, along with a diverse range of classes and skills.

While I admired the concept of Tales of Pirates, the outdated engine and numerous bugs pushed me to revitalize the idea using Unreal Engine 5. My game serves as a remake of Tales of Pirates, boasting enhanced graphics, improved performance, and refined gameplay. Additionally, I have exciting plans to introduce new features such as dungeons, additional class quests, skills, and ships.

Given that my profession revolves around Unreal Engine development, the project's progression relies solely on my skills and the dedicated 2 hours I invest in it daily. My familiarity with the engine enables me to accomplish a substantial amount of work within this timeframe.
