A jankenpon-memory-based #pirate #adventure


Mutiny !! Your ship was stolen, the crew is up against you, and they threw you in prisonĀ Ā - and all of this by your own sister ?! And for what, a big, mysterious, crystalĀ ? Get the band back together and rock-paper-scissors your way back up the cockpit.Ā 

Pirates of The Memory CrystalĀ is a story-drivenĀ adventureĀ game, withĀ turn-basedĀ combat that plays out like a mix ofĀ rock-paper-scissorsĀ and "Simon" (the electronic toy).

Who is this for

  • Fans of story gamesĀ : Characters ! Plot ! Lots of people talkingĀ ! We got it allĀ !

  • Low-poly afficionadosĀ : if graphics don't matter, but artstyle does to you, come on in !Ā +1 if you like them old school chunky polygons^^

  • Original gameplay enthusiastsĀ : If you play games to be surprised and try stuff you never did before, we can - hopefully!Ā - provide you with some fresh gameplay twists.

What this is notĀ 

  • NOT an RPGĀ : While the style is a clear hommage to JRPGs, this is not one. There are no stats, levels or equiment. And noĀ customisation whatsoever here!

  • NOT a long gameĀ : Expect 1-2h max of content. MyĀ idea was to make this like a single chapter of a much bigger RPG story, something a single developer can manage to do^^

  • NOT a complex battle systemĀ : The combat is memory-based, so it will not get more difficult than a Simon. There are however some twists with bosses, but a tactical game this is not.
