100 Followers?!? Featured post??!!?? What is going on??

I went to sleep 8 hours ago with 21 followers and was very surprised when I woke up with close to 100! And my post got featured??? So thanks for all the follows and likes everyone! I truly was not expecting this kind of reception

Alright, enough of the thanking, now lets get to what you really came here for. The Development Log! I will cover some stuff from development up to this point and then I will talk about what I'm working on currently

Up to this point Basement Dwellers has been in off and on development for about 7 months. Well kinda. The first prototype was made in around 2 months. After those 2 months the most development Basement Dwellers got were some ideas that came to me every now and again. Here's some gameplay from that original version:

After those 2 months I was still working on fangame stuff in blender, getting as much practice as I could

Where are we now? Well, around a month and a half ago I decided it was time to go back and work on some Basement Dwellers stuff. I opened up the blend file and... my god was it terrible. It was incredibly difficult to work with and majorly unoptimized. So I just decided to redo everything from scratch (aside from a few props) And man am I glad I did. I didnt realize how much I had improved over that time. Heres some old-ish gameplay footage from the new version:

Yeah. Much better than before I believe. (And there are still changes being made to this of course.)

So right now at this very moment I am working on the nights intro sequence. Before every night begins, you will walk through the property that the storage bunker is on, on your way to the bunker. they are pretty short sequences but they should be able to provide a better sense of of your surroundings, and provide some opportunities for a few scripted events ;) Unfortunately I have nothing really to show off right now for this in the most recent version, buttttt I do have some footage from the original prototype version of the game that should give you a pretty good Idea of what Im going for:

Alright, thats about it for now. Ill be trying to make dev logs anytime I get to a significant milestone from here out. Oh and before I go, would anyone want me to make a discord server? Ive been thinking about making one but Im not sure if anyone would use it

Okay okay bye for now!

Okay seriously. Devlog within the next few weeks. These past couple weeks have been great for development, so Ill have a lot to update you on.

FNAF Accuracy in a 3d game engine?? No way!

Finally updated my Clickteam panorama Godot shader

Added the classic Clickteam pano "stair-stepping" effect (so accurate!) and fixed a bug that changed the zoom amount depending on the aspect ratio of the screen

(devlog soon I promise)

Announcements!! Game engines, independence, and Virtual Reality

Working on the update! Heres the updated office (still a lot of tweaks to make). The second slide is the office from update 2

Hey Hey! New Devlog

Frame system is implemented! Need to fill out the application resource's functionalities, and implement a couple more of clickteams objects but we're well on the way to the plugins first release

2 years! And another update..?

In your opinion, what are the most annoying/worst qualities of the Clickteam Fusion game engine?
