The collaboration

About two days ago, me, Green, and Blueis (a manager of Lantern Studios) were talking about a collab between Skylanders Slayers and their game, Cookie vs. Clicker 2. I had always wanted to have a true collab with another game, and I also wanted to have a collab Skylander in this game.

After some chatting about mainly Cookie's upgrade paths, attacks, etcetera, it was settled — SKYLANDERS SLAYERS × COOKIE VS. CLICKER 2 HAD BEEN PROCLAIMED!

My side of the collab is that I'll add a new Skylander (and their element) will be added to the roster — Slayer Cookie! Or just Cookie.

Blueis' side of the collab is adding Garand Magus to Cookie vs. Clicker 2! Here's even the popup they posted in Skylanders Slayers' groupchat:

A shift in game genre

I was inspired by a comment said by one of the games at Celestial Games' Discord server, saying something around the lines of, "People complain about SSA and Giants because you can't jump in them. Well, you can't jump in SSA and Giants because they're dungeon crawlers!" ... I think y'all know where this is going...

Skylanders Slayers is a dungeon crawler now! And it kind of makes sense, too, considering the planned elemental strengths/weaknesses and roguelite/roguelike assets.

Next up is...

Voice acting auditions???

Maybe. I'm still thinking about whether or not I should do VA auditions. But there's still some news regarding voice acting — Green is voice acting Garand Magus!

Unless puberty unexpectedly hits him, then it'd be a mere tragedy. /j

Also, I'll be voicing Glumshanks...! N-No one? Really...? Okie...
