Welcome to Scratch Game Jam #1

We look forward to working with all the next generation of creators to co-create the world.

The theme of Scratch Game Jam #1 is The Sound of Play.

Sound effects are one of the most important parts of a game. Good sound effects make the players feel like they are there. We hope this will be a Game Jam Celebrating Audio in Games.

Some submissions have been received. Let's take a look.

Sonic Celerity

“The game follows Sonic as he dashes through a soggy place in a rainstorm, and then he picks up the Eternal Sword of Japan, while his mission is to defeat the strong and aggressive demon for good, in return for his reward of extended live span from an Angel of Heaven.” by papichi05

This game uses a lot of cool noises and stereo sounds.Headphones are recommended!

A Cyberpunk Rhythm Combat Game Created with Gandi IDE.

The sound effects of this game are particularly good thanks to Media Utils extension. Monsters will appear in 5 directions, then the hero will attack them, and each attack will form a rhythm in the song.

Electric Notes

This is a rhythm game that simulates the guitar.

Rhythms will keep coming up and you need to press the right keys to trigger them.

Sound Waves

This work was created by Andygun11

By clicking, or pressing the spacebar, you can shoot out soundwaves. These soundwaves will help you see where the walls of the level are!

The idea of fitting the theme and the design of sound wave reflection makes this game have an interesting idea.

Run up to the radio to turn it off. Once you turn off all 9 radios, you face off against the Notes of Destruction!

This author really has a lot of whimsical ideas and the noise is soooo noisy lmao!

First time doing pixel art!

The creator said this was his first time doing pixel art. The art style and sound effects are very cute as a scrolling game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
