I brought Chuck D. Head into Pocket Dimensional Clash 3 to play through the first stage of the Terror chapter, and the stage opens with a surprise encounter against B.B.Hood from Darkstalkers. At first it feels like she might just be passing through the stage, but she quickly turns on the player and starts the chapter with a tense fight right away.
After that unexpected opening, the stage shifts into a callback to Chuck’s original game with a boss fight against Bull Head from Decap Attack. Seeing Chuck face one of his own classic enemies inside this crossover setting makes the whole stage feel like a proper introduction to the Terror chapter.
This level has a unique detail: the storm keeps pushing all players (and items) backward all the time, except for the enemies.
