I must confess, I don't know much about Rayman, and I haven't had time lately between duties to do full-scale illustrations, but I hope I did him justice for all the Rayman fans out there.
Here's another one of my recent surface patterns, inspired by ogee prints, 1920s décor, and early Art Nouveau design. I actually pulled the palettes from an interior design book published in the late 1920s—very fun!
Here's a surface pattern design I painted that was inspired by an embroidered jacket. You can probably see I used an arch motif as a guide for this one. I think it looks really cool for upholstery (chair mockup courtesy of Spoonflower).
