Good music has no language barrier.

"I like music where I can understand what they're saying."

Have you heard that one before? I have.

I kind of get it. People want to know what the song is about on a very specific level. But as an instrumentalist, I don't agree with it at all.

If a song is written properly, you already feel what's going on, usually on a deeper level than just having it described in words.

Honestly, I'd argue it's harder to make a song that fails to tell a story. Even someone who hardly knows anything about music can feel emotions and that translates into what you make, whether you know it or not.

If you can't understand a song without words on an emotional level, the song isn't good. You don't even have to be a really good musician if people get you and can relate to you, even as someone who's never met you, just by listening to your music.

That's about it. Just a thought that's been in my head over the last month or two. Something interesting for you to chew on.

Finally got my hands on a PS2 copy of Pac Man World 2 after like a decade of being deprived of this game.

Peak nostalgia.

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

My profile's been embarrassingly dead recently, so here's a really short clip from a RecRoom Backrooms game with @TheMuffinMan343 and @LegendaryPro292 (also my game was really broken while recording for some reason).

Tried adding some more light because the eyes seemed too bright for the environment.

Too much?

ME. I have the coolest mask in gaming.

A close second would probably be Sammy Lawrence from the Bendy series, though.
