Here are the three new powers i'm developing: Laser Pistol, Toxic Fumes and Thick Blood!

Here's what these three new powers do:

Laser Pistol is pretty simple: it substitutes the regular bullet for a laser stream which damages everything in its path. The gif doesn't capture all frames, so it looks a little weirder than it looks in the game. Also, I intend to add more effects to make it look more "lasery"...

Thick Blood is a power that creates a random chance (depending on the upgrade's level) that when a zombie is killed, it releases an oil puddle. This oil puddle is the same as the one released by the Oil Spill power. This will allow for cool synergies with inflammable effects!

Finally... Toxic Fumes is a power that replaces the car's standard dust cloud for a purple, toxic smoke that damages zombies over time! Be smart about lining them up behind you and letting them choke!

Some of the art for these powers is a little rough, I know: that's because I'm focusing more on the design and development side of things as of now, to get a playable version ready as soon as possible!

NEW UI PLANNING!

Since the beginning of this project, I've done its UI in a somewhat haphazard way. Now it's time to get some things right, so I'm planning to fix some things about its user interface.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

DEAD DRIFT UPDATE!

I'm still working on the missions, and it's been harder than I anticipated. However, I was able to make missions work (even if the UI is a little janky)!
