Going counterclockwise from the top left will display Lilac's evolution through designs until that of her debut appearance in Episode 1 of the Gacha series!

Originally, the entire "Project Equals" wasn't a project, but a concept for a 3-minute music video retelling the famous tale of Romeo and Juliet in a fantasy-forest setting. It only had six characters, with Lilac in the role of "Juliet". The original plot followed the tale pretty closely, ending the same way....

....but then as I was designing looks in Gacha Club, I got a little carried away and started making whole characters from each of her proposed looks. I ended up with about 20 more characters and enough lore for at least 10 mini-episodes. The project grew from there into what it is now: 18 minisodes made with Gacha Life/Club/Life2 across three "seasons", a monochromatic side story comic (only in the Discord server for now) and the start of a tie-in short-story VN series made with Ren'Py!

And as much as I expected to cringe when watching it after all these years, I still enjoy it, so I hope the Gacha peeps that read this can do so as well!

For future "episodes" of Equals: Aftermath, I am heavily considering having at least one be non-linear with at least 3 endings, and maybe one kinetic-hybrid novel (I have always wanted to try it).

I am also considering remaking the Equals Gacha series itself into a visual novel of Return to Eternity's caliber, as it would probably fit the story better (along with non-Chibi sprites, as non-Gacha peeps have mentioned that they can't take the little baby avatars seriously in any context). That's a BIG project idea, though... so I'll give it a cool minute before I tackle anything like that again.

This is probably the last thing I will post on this game page, but anyone who ends up liking this game enough to want more need not worry, I have plans and drafts for three more "episodes" of this project's story (barring a decision to add a remake of the main story) sometime after Return to Eternity is done!
