🚨 OFFICIAL REBRAND ANNOUNCEMENT Servant To None (formerly known as Slendytubbies Rebooted)
After working on this project for 4 to 5 years, the time has finally come for the big change.
The obvious question is: why?
From day one it has always been about experimentation and turning it into exactly what I wanted it to be. My main inspirations were the Amnesia franchise, Outlast, Little Nightmares, Silent Hill, and a bit of Resident Evil. Slendytubbies itself was just a temporary vessel until I was ready to make the big decision around 2024–2025 to turn it into something completely original — its own independent story, characters, atmosphere, and overall feel. (obviously back then it was supposed to be a fan game till stuff changed)
And today I can finally reveal some details:
This game is going to be loved by history lovers, because that’s the overall vibe I’m going for. The first game takes place in 2022, but the beginning of this new franchise goes all the way back to the 1890s. It’s a thrilling tale about dark experiments, the hidden secrets of the Victorian era, and things that should have stayed buried.
(More details will obviously be revealed if you play the game — Alpha V1.5 is heavily outdated with the current lore.)
Obviously I cannot call these little goofballs “Tubbies” anymore or I’d get dragged into legal trouble, so from here on out they are called Roundlings — and in the lore they are known as “the Perfects”.
The main character is still Tubbz (he’s been called that for five years and that’s never changing).
We’re changing the project name from Slendytubbies Rebooted to Servant To None. Some character names and designs will receive small tweaks only. Nothing is being reset. All old content stays (except the tubby house and anything that belongs to BBC/WildBrain).
This rebrand is being done so our original designs are fully protected under German copyright law (Urheberrechtsgesetz), specifically § 51a UrhG (the transformative-use / pastiche exception)..
Old pages will update over time with “(formerly Slendytubbies Rebooted)”.
If you have any follow-up questions, feel free to leave them below! I’ll try to answer as many as I can!
Thank you to everyone who has been here since the beginning. This rebrand was the last big step so we can finally monetize, release properly, and grow this into the franchise it was always meant to be.
New Tubbz (and any future Roundling Design)
