At first, I wasn’t planning to add any “parkour” elements because I’m not that great at it. But then I thought it would be boring if the player could only wander around and walk through the level. Being able to climb over certain obstacles or get on top of them gives the player more freedom. With good level design, this could turn into a more dynamic horror escape experience.
It still looks pretty rough for now, but I’m going to keep improving this mechanic. I can’t promise it’ll end up being super cool, but I’m trying to make it good while also keeping it simple.
