I have been working on my Animal Crossing 2D fangame for 3+ months. Here is everything I got done. (Not a De-vlog)


4 Villagers who can move in. (You have to unlock them by upgrading your town.

Tons of dialogue.

Nook's Cranny and all the furniture it has (It only sells basic furniture. Rare furniture is earned through events.)

Town Meter is nearly finished. (Basically a friendship/leveling system.)

Able Sisters (Just like Nook's Cranny, she only sells basic clothing. The good stuff is earned through events)

The random town maker is finally done! (Towns are randomly generated!)

Villagers are able to interact with the environment (Paint roofs, break things on accident.)

I'm thinking of adding the town hall from New leaf that allows players to add their own touch to their town.

Here is a photo of me talking to a villager in my new fan game, Animal Crossing 2D! The demo is out now!

The game already has 3 villagers and 60+ lines of dialogue. There is about 4 beds and 4 tables. There is also 10+ outfits to choose from. I'm still working on a way to make bells...

2 examples of villagers bed times:

Lazy villagers (like Bob) go to bed starting from around 9pm.

Normal villagers (like Betty) go to bed starting from around 12am.
