I won't give away all my ideas for it, one because of plagiarizers and two to prevent spoiling it, but here's some basic info.
Codename: Showtime
The codename is just what I'll call it while I think of a name and to avoid giving it away, because just a heads up, the devlog for that will not be as obvious as this one, because it's pretty much showing you exactly what every part of the game will look like before it's released, but let's go on.
The gameplay will be similar to Post-Shift 2, in the sense that it's simulated free roam, but the difficulty will not be as bad.
Think of that, but all packed into one three-hour night with checkpoints. It will be hard, but that is because it's only going to be one night.
I would like you to know some important things, though, like the fact that it will take place in a different location made by a different company with different characters, and the only real similarity will be the storyline, which continues into the other games. This is mainly so people who play it won't have to play all the games before it first, but also because I'm getting tired of only doing sea themed animatronics which is originally why I made Felix.
I like to brainstorm ideas for the future of the series when I'm not actively coding so all the games are more cohesive, storyline wise, and so if I need to add something new to the game, it's not a big deal since it hasn't been released yet.
Don't get too excited, though. I doubt Shady Waters one will even be out before March of 2026, potentially even May or as far as a year from now.
Sorry about the far away release date, but it's evidence that I'm actually putting effort into the game, unlike around 60-75% of the games on here that were made in scratch.
At least I've found some people other than myself who put effort into their games, mostly the people I've followed, plus a few thousand more who I haven't discovered.
Also, this is an incredibly long post, so I'll end it here.
