Fun Fact: In a few mantis species, the female will sometimes eat the head of her partner when mating.

Lesser Known Fact: This gives the male mantis a more optimal attack formation.

Love is beautiful!

Delighted to announce that the INSECTILE demo will be in Steam Animal Fest! I'm hoping this will be a great boost for my little indie game!🐌

Dive into the cozy post-apocalyptic open world of Critter Cove!

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as β€œa little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

Silksong may have ruined my chances of sticking out as a game about bugs, but I'd like to see Hornet try to incorporate shape puzzles into combat!

Okay, I do a color sketch for every INSECTILE before I commit to its design. I normally don't share them but LOOK AT HOW THE EARTHWORM TURNED OUT! DONUT!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Over half of all INSECTILE wish lists were added in the last month. I could not be more grateful!

If you're an indie dev or any kind of creative - do not be discouraged!
