#IslamFact #4

Contrary to Christianity In Islam, Satan/Shaytan was originally not a "fallen angel" but a jinn, a being made of fire called Iblis and doesn't rule over Hell, but rather tries to make people join him in Hell

Yes, the same Jinn as Genies

Which means that in Aladdin, when Jafar wishes to become "the most powerful Genie in the world" he's basically wishing to become the new Devil. Either that or an Ifrit (basically a stronger type of Jinn)

It wouldn't work anyway, since Jinn cannot turn humans into more Jinn, which is weird since they got some of their limitations (like being unable to reanimate the dead or make people fall in love) but they gave them this ability. One of many cultural inaccuracies in the movie

In Saudi Arabia, the crescent moon has been sighted, signalling the end of the month of Ramadan and the start of Shawwal, so...

Tomorrow, it will be Eid-ul-Fitr

I'll drop one more Islamic Fact to round it off to 20, then back to usual ;)

Allah in Islam has 99 names (excluding Allah, which is Arabic for God)

You'd better learn them, as according to the Hadith: “Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will enter Paradise.” (AL-BUKHARI 54:23)

Read this 3 times:

"Say, “He is Allah, [who is] One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, Nor is there to Him any equivalent.”

If you did so...

This really is cute. Not at all like the last cake I made for the halloween fireside.

For the last fact to celebrate Ramadan, a misconception about Islam is that it is intolerant towards other religions, when in fact, Islam teaches to respect people of other faiths, and never force Islam on others

Eid Mubarak :)

Let's go lads

Thanks for 200 followers everyone :)

My son got a 3d printer for Christmas and made me a planter :)

Everyone knows that Muslims pray 5 times a day, right?

WRONG! There are actually 4 seperate types of prayer:

-Fard (Obligatory prayer)

-Wajib (Required prayer)

-Sunnah (Recommended prayer)

-Nafl (Voluntary prayer)
