It believed to give anyone who sleeps around it extreme strength at the cost of having vivid painful nightmares.

After a week of use the sleeper will get a particular nightmare. The nightmare will have the sleeper's muscles grow and grow, ripping and tearing the skin of their upper body leaving exposing their bloody muscles behind. Along with that their teeth will fallout and be replaced with larger teeth, this process will destroy their lower jaw. After that the nightmare will end with their eyes slowly turning black. When they wake up all of their muscles in their will be in immense agonizing pain.

Anyone foolish enough to continue sleeping around the idle will suffer their final nightmare. They'll be chased by the monster they transformed into the night before, the nightmare will almost always ending in their death. In real life they would ether bleed to death do to their muscles expanding and tearing their skin, or suffer a heart attack before they bleed out.
