Late Merry Christmas! Made this for a little something I was doing with some friends back in August. These are the main characters of Maison Ikkoku, my favourite manga.

The one that I made back in August is the version with simpler shading and a more visibly limited palette. I made the version with more colour and detailed shading just today, because, even though the result was already pretty good, I always thought that it could look even better if I were allowed to use actual tones for lighting, though I'm now unsure of whether the skin looks good with the outline I ended up giving it. The original version also has its charm. I think I dealed with my limitations pretty well.

Yes, Kyoko looks weird. I made her on a 32x32 canvas like everyone else without thinking it through until I put them all side by side and noticed that her head was smaller in comparison. XD

Lunala mini sprite (is it just me or does the GIF's animation look bad on Game Jolt? I swear it isn't supposed to move that fast). #Pokemon #Pixelart #Fanart

Kinda messy self-portrait. I liked the final result, though I think I really screwed up just a bit.

Some art I've done in the last year and months that I felt like showing to you today (read article for more info and context).
