As previously announced, the game will enter Early Access, which means that you, the players, can directly support the project and in return will be able to see everything that happens in development without waiting for the final version. Even by acquiring Early Access, you will be taken into account in the development of the game, and your opinions will be super important for changes in balance, pacing, etc.
Early Access is designed to cost half the price of the final game; that is, if you have $4 left over, you can help and support the final development of the game.
Almost nothing will change. The demo won't receive any further updates, as I've always said, unless the update is to the graphics. In that case, it will be updated, but it won't progress beyond its current state. Only Early Access members will have access to all the new content that's released: story updates, feedback on new mechanics, etc.
