Hello everyone,
After receiving more feedback, I’ve decided to nerf the killer! Why? So that it’s easier to complete the game and explore the environment.
In the previous version, the killer was constantly on top of players and chasing them. I have made tweaks so it’s easier to escape the killer if caught and harder for the killer to spot you.
Here are the tweaks:
Enemy stunned time after successful attack has been increased by 4 seconds. You will now have more time to run away from the killer after knocking them out. This stun time is much longer than the stun time after knocking out the killer via a struggle decision so players won’t be as tempted to run into a trap or hide whilst the killer is chasing them to trigger one. It is now more effective to beat the killer through combat than a struggle decision.
Enemy field of vision length has been reduced. It will now be harder for the enemy to spot you from afar, though they will still hear you if you’re far away and running a lot.
Enemy move to new area speed has been reduced. To keep the killer within the same area as the player, when the player enters a new area the killer is notified and moves to that area very quickly. I have now reduced this speed so the killer is less likely to spot you whilst moving to the new area.
Other Bug Fixes
Fixed a camera bug during running to the camping area cutscene.
Fixed bug where bear trap mini-game prompt wasn’t showing and the resetting UI was displayed instead.
Fixed Fountain Colour. Should be red not blue.
