
Now in PFEX Specials and Supers do chip damage. Not normals. But when you block too much you enter "Guard Fatigue" (RED block FX) and then normals DO start inflicting chip damage. AND Supers and Specials do double chip damage. #gamedev #fgc #gamedesign

Working on Sprite After Images supporting more features like Sprite Palettes.
Here's a fun weekend post. A while back I tried to animate Ryu in his new Street Fighter 6 costume in NeoGeo Pocket Color style. I quite like the result! (This will NOT be featured as a costume in PFEX though, I did it just for fun.)
Enhancements to the After Image system are working good. It accepts Palette Sprites now, among all sorts of other features. 🌈 #UnrealEngine #gamedev
I'm feeling very bad this week so there may not be many updates on things.
Last week I did boost the efficiency of Mega Man Rulers of Space prototype by like 15%!
Still working on the Simon and Nathan sprite rips. Simon is almost done I think.
Managed to figure out how to apply palettes to low color sprites in #UnrealEngine5. The flashing ones are randomizing their palettes every frame.
Still working on an easy to edit palette data system, but it works!!
