So, after hours of research and many failed attempts, I finally made a pseudo 3D engine in Godot (no, you didn't read it wrong, THIS IS NOT REAL 3D). Here you can see the overlayed 2D hitboxes of the objects. I did this following a Scratch tutorial, LOL!

This update aims to improve a few things based on some feedback I received, such as the maps being too confusing, the difficulty being too high, and the lack of player guidance.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
