So apparently I check my page to find drama?

Long story short: I login every day, and my DMs are open to all, but I will leave chats that start to disturb my mental peace at any time. Unfortunately, the only way to do so is to unfriend the individual.


Long story:

I left a couple of DM chats when I no longer felt comfortable by unfriending the users. One of them seems to have been hurt by it and is leaving negative commentary on my page that I cannot directly respond to because they blocked me after.

I am now resorting to this.

I do not blame anyone offended by this, as from a perspective it is mean to do. I try to give as much help and as many chances as possible, but I don't have the time or patience for being a private echo chamber/trauma dumpster and I am NOT a therapist.

Also, it seems that the chat disappears when I leave so it might be that the other user is never able to read the goodbye message I send unless they are currently online to catch it. I make sure to send one if it gets to that point, and it does not affect my interest in the person's work (I will simply limit my interaction to comment sections). For this, I offer my most sincere apologies to @AriksonMania and @k98phildeveloper2025 , I choose to believe they are both fundamentally good people who may have been hurt by my actions.

This changes nothing about my online MO, supporting work of active devs by means of boosting their posts with likes and commentary, I will do so even if the entire site hates me so long as I am active here (that's the reason I usually unfriend without blocking). But I must ask at the very least, read my bio if not try to get to know me externally before deciding to try and access my DMs, as I would only want those used for things that need to be discussed in private.
