Version D0.42 Update 1 released!


This update brings some technical improvements.

Game

  • A screenshot option has been added for the feedback widget.

    • Makes it easier to diagnose issues.

  • Minor improvements to the auto-save.

  • Updated renderer to 0.90.0, bringing performance and stability improvements.

  • Fixed a bug, where the Ctrl+Shift+F hotkey for the feedback widget didn't work.

  • Fixed some crashes.

  • Fixed an error, where the old crash screen would appear.

Starboard

  • The game master and launcher are now merged.

    • Having separate executables are no longer necessary. Starboard takes over the duties of the Game Master from now on.

    • This also results in a minor size reduction (about 10MB).

  • Size and performance improvements.

  • Starboard with take advantage of Windows.UI.Composition (if available. Will fall back to DirectComposition if not). Brings improvements for users with high refresh rate displays.

  • Technical improvements, in preparation for bringing over Starboard to Linux (Linux builds currently use the Pico Launcher.

Linux

  • Merged Game Master to the Pico Launcher, reducing the game size.

  • Fixed some issues that occur when the game closes.​
