Liminex is a small VR horror game based around liminal spaces that I've been working on for about 2 months now.
Synopsis/Backstory
At the start of the game, you are introduced to the in game company, Liminex. Their goal is to study liminal spaces in order to find potential uses in fields such as psychology, neuroscience, and design/architechture.
In order to actually visit the many liminal spaces needed for their goals, Liminex invents a device to simulate universes with an abundance of these locations; the LUAH, a headset that can generate an infinite amount of liminal spaces. And for organization purposes, different chunks of these spaces are labeled as virtual universes.
Gameplay
In the main game, you are a beta tester for Liminex, and you have been chosen to explore U-318223, one of the virtual universes. In U-318223, you discover various liminal spaces, each with unique details in their design and feel.
Throughout the main game, you come across 10 Zones. The Zones are just a way of splitting up chunks of liminal spaces, they have no real meaning.
