What sounds more interesting for a top-down intricate Halo game? Looking for some feedback as these were some directions i've been thinking my game could go in; (READ ARTICLE)

A: Open world

B: Point A to point B Halo 1 - 5 style

*1: ODST style

*2: A colony far off came in contact with the Covvies around the same time as UNSC

*3: The battle of Harvest (one of the first huge battles against the covenant)

*4: A battle that happened on a different side of Reach

*5: Purely fighting to survive somewhere

Additional information:

You would be a marine or some other soldier that is not a spartan (looking for a different experience)

Next up

Stress testing the pathfinding engine after i did some work on optimization. I also felt like it was needed to change the order at which each node pathfinds, therefore making the ones closer to the destination go first. Implementation coming soon!

Here's some old WW2 art i made for a game idea that never really turned into anything.

NEW Make! Halo Crystal Data Disk (Large)

3D printed, spray and hand painted. It is internally powered and lit. The clear center is PETG sheets cut and hand etched with an engraver. It is two halves held closed by magnets.
