HonestDan @HonestDan
I am in my 30s from Wales in the United Kingdom. I have an academic background in Computer Science and AI, though my careers haven't always been programming / development related.
Since August 2017 I've been teaching myself Game Development. I started with Unity and C#. In 2019 I transitioned to Unreal and C++ as there was a great job opportunity in a studio using Unreal Engine 4. I've been working in industry since April 2019 in a studio in the United Kingdom.
Games on this page are not affiliated with the studio I work for. The games are made in my spare time and often streamed over on my Twitch channel.
Devlog: World Design - Update 7! Brainoid and Honest Dan move from card game to world design - as they talk though the pros and cons of different approaches.

Devlog, devlog, read all about it! This ended up being more of a design discussion, as latest changes were mostly bugfixes - but it was a really good discussion about card crafting mechanic and how we want to structure the campaign https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gnzevL4S3E
A new devlog as arrived! In this update, we see the start of having customisable abilities (specials and ultimates) that can be set per character. Also the first iteration of trinkets: passive buffs that are applied when equipped.

We were busy last weekend due to Ludum Dare 49 - which was good fun. We wanted to use it as an excuse to research how to make a world map for Cattenburg, so worked on a hex grid based game.
Back for our weekly dev progress review! The game board has been reworked to accommodate some re-designs. Face down cards are now split in two sections (yours / enemies) and we've re-introduced the Thief, Tank and Mage characters! https://youtu.be/5CMbBKrxh9s
