weekend_showcase in 2D Games



With another chapter out of the way, it's time for some UX improvements! Everybody loves those, right?
* Pixel-perfect mode - the game also scales perfectly on 1080p screens as-is
* Player selector & star counter in challenge mode
* Text is more readable



This is the game I've made for Ludum Dare 55, here are some shots from the game:

I guess the answer to last week's question is "at least 4". Not counting the one who died in the last game.
CHAPTER 4 (T) IS DONE!!!
We are now 2/3 of the way to the phase 2 release! I'm very excited to share this with you all soon.

Ludum Dare 55 has started and the theme is Summoning. I'm making a game for the jam and here's a very early screenshot from the game:

Not much update this week so here are some shots of Drego and Rico in action:




I'm going to wrap up my update for this game and prevent me from feature creep.
Here are couple stuffs I've done in the last week:


Before the animation was created with more realism in mind.
After the animation has quicker movement with impact frame emphasis.



These shots show Drego's dragon shots and also new background settings for these boss combo.


The title implies more than one raider so please welcome Drego, the second raider for this game. He's blue colored and designed based on Dragoon.
Speaking of color, Rico is green colored now.
