Y'know, a VN story doesn't always have to have a deeper message or immersive gameplay behind it. It can literally just be an expression.

TLDR: Kinetic novels can be just as cool as visual ones - "easier" to build, but "harder" to pull off.

Okay, I've calmed down now. Took a nice warm shower and played Minecraft for a while haha. Now! Back onto this data persistence task!

Today I want to get the score, high score, and difficulty saving between sessions but I'ma take an hour or so long break from that right now because my computer today is being very slow and right now it's beginning to genuinely piss me off.

When you are developing a game, do you ever feel like you just can't sleep or refuse to go to sleep until you have cracked and figured out a problem in your code? even if it's just a pixel? that's how I feel almost daily
