#Devruary Least favorite thing about devving is the most important: trial and error. I cannot understate how infuriating it is to have my game crash cos of a single space where an underscore should be, but learning to catch everything is my best habit.

#GJAsks The game I spend the most time playing lately is the one I'm working on, for testing purposes. Every once I a while, I will play it for fun though!

As for not-mine games, I occasionally play Animal Crossing! I love to cook and design in that game!

Fave part of Dev communities/realm - devlogs for non-horror games, especially with really cool graphics!

Fave part of being a Dev: seeing everything work correctly in my games!

All of ours, of course! I've seen my fellow devs pour as much effort into their work as I do into mine, so I hope we all get our flowers!

#Devruary The only engine I use is...in my username LOL! It has a nice learning curve, a great degree of user freedom, and a format just PERFECT for visual sotrytelling!

#Devruary I guess the only bad dev habit I've managed to quit is trying to make my work appeal to everyone. While constructive criticism is helpful, you can't please everyone, so might as well make the game mostly to your standard and see what happens.

#Devruary TESTING helps me the most as a dev. TESTING EVERYTHING. I make sure to have a separate "dummy" project in my medium of choice exclusively for testing out everything I want to add to my main games.

Though it's just about done now, the demo will be released on Friday(1/30/26), as hopefully more people will have the time to play it after school or work....reasons why below.
