I was bored so I started to make a 2D shooter-platformer game.
I'll try to update the game frequently and to add features like a level creator. #platformer #shooter
Please DO NOT launch the game through the game jolt client, it is inconsistent and can cause problems.
Also now there is a readme file in the game directory.
Loading...I have redesigned the jumping system to be more like Mario's (short press - short jump, long press - high jump).
Because of that I also discovered a very annoying bug in my code where on slopes the jump is slightly higher than it is supposed to be.
Wow, it has been a long time since I last updated the game.
Basically:
I got bored of it and left it behind.
Fast forward 9 months, I tried Gamemaker on my new Linux machine. I found the old project, realized it is badly written, and I am now remaking it.
Apparently my internet cut out while trying to write a message a couple of days ago smh.
Basically I don't have access to a computer until the 31st of August because of personal reasons.
The game is still in development, the new features are just more complicated which makes the updates longer.
I'll elaborate on the features at a later point, when I will have a working version of them.
