Yo! How's developming goin'? Or u gived up cuz small attention? Just asking cuz is kinda quiet (yes I have in mind that one person doin' everything)
Chromatic Galaxy is a twin stick, roguelike space shooter and currently under development. The game will have different types of ships available that can be customized with weapons and abilities. The enemies will come in three different colors, blue, red and yellow, while you and possible allies come in green. You can switch the color of your shots and have to hit the enemy in the correct color to deal damage.
The game will be available for Windows and most likely also for Mac OS.
Further details will follow in the next weeks. I hope to release in early 2023 but I am a hobby game dev so I can not promise a certain date. #roguelike #shooter #action #scifi #twinstick #topdown
Loading...Added a new laserbeam weapon to the game, maybe not the best tool to fight vs smaller ships. Also added secondary weapons, energy consumption and damage scripting.
Loading...Almost finished with ship customization. Added multiple ships to select from, some more icons, changed few scripts regarding the weapons. I realized I need to rework some scripts, so I did that right away. Not a fan of creating UI, but it has to be done
Loading...Currently working on ship selection/customization. Still needs a lot of work, but I think I like the weapon preview in the upper left.
Started working on the UI. Most work is code in the background to set everything up. First time I implement controller support for UI. Lower left will be for abilities or items.
