Factions and Heroes is a side scrolling space shooting game, where the player can create formations of space ships drawn from various types and factions.
The game has its own Formation system, made from scratch, which allows the player to experiment with different combinations of ships, know which boosts is active in the current formation and check all different kinds of stats to help with the choice.
From Faction boosts to the shape of the formation, to unique skills unlocked when curtain ships are in the formation, it all makes a difference in Factions and Heroes!!
The game is currently under development, and still has a long way to go, hoping to gather enough feedback to shape it to the vision in my head 
I called it that name, because ships will be categorized into factions, and each ship will have its own hero captain, thus the name Factions and Heroes!!

I added 2 new Heavy Weapons.
Lightning Strike which branches to nearby enemies and a continuous laser stream.
There might be some effect issues that I will surely fix 😁

I am sorry for the low activity recently.
The reason behind it is that I got a job in a company making mobile casual games.
This doesn't mean am not working on the game, I will continue working on the UI with my friend.

Opening the door to even more combinations between ships, weapons, equipments... the possibilities are now even larger!

What do you guys think about customizations in shoot em ups? what is considered great customization?
I will work on a system that allows you to unlock and change the weapons of the ships depending on its type, not stricting each ship to a specific weapon
