Im trying to learn java and the project i started ended turning into a rogue-Like game. The game creation will be separated in three parts:
The first part a basic husk of the mechanics conveyed through a basic menu. This part is supposed to be the foundation on the game with little to no graphics.
This part is not meant to be enjoyable to play. It's only proof of concept
The second one will be seperated in 2:
the first step will be the making of a 2D physics engine for the game in a platformey way.
the second step will be the conjugation of the 2D physics engine and the first part's mechanics.
This Part will be the playable and almost releasable version of the game.
Finaly, the third and last part will have an undefined lenght and will be the eternal addition of content of the said game.

Summary of the main idea of the game
This game will drop the player in computer generated world where most of the specifities of the mechanics will be randomized. I've been wanting a game like this since i always feel that roguelikes dont ever go far enough with the rng. In this world, The player will need to explore a dungeon to eventually defeat It's ruler to then move on to a new run. On his path many will try to fend off the player's exploration using the same tools as the player. For example, enemies will be able to use potions and such.
