What do you think?

As promised, here is my first look at the game. I want to say that is a really good game and I can't wait to be able to get the full game. I will even try to make it an actual series on the Channel some time.

Explore the expansive region of Thebryll, a place filled with many dangers and secrets while collecting over 40 different items to aid you on your journey to find the six fragments of the Eternity Rune before it's too late!

The Story
Long ago, the wizard Odu created two magical runes to balance the natural forces of good and evil in the universe. They became known as the Runes of Eternity and Destruction, and were sealed away after Odu's passing.

Eventually, another wizard named Drodu stole the Rune of Destruction from its resting place. He was promised strange new powers by the rune, and it corrupted him. The Eternity Rune was broken into six pieces and scattered throughout Thebryll, leaving the now corrupted Drodu to go into hiding to master his newfound powers, confident he could not be stopped.

Odu arose from his grave, and knowing that the world could meet its doom, looked for someone to send on a mission to recover the pieces of the Eternity Rune. He eventually found Aloe, a warrior from the forest. Aloe was dubbed the title of "Rune Seeker" and was sent on his journey to reassemble the Rune of Eternity and save Thebryll.

Weekly update #20:

- Added some new enemies
- Started working on a new sidequest
- Added some save file borders
- Tweaked the inventory layout a tiny bit
- Started a new mini-dungeon: Squishy's Cave

Weekly Update #19:

- Made it so that the text box doesn't cover the player when he's on the bottom half of the screen

- Made it so enemies can get elemental status effects

- Made the Unukutus and Thunder Tome useful

- Tweaks and bug fixes

Demo Version 1.3 has been released!

It now includes an overworld map, some tutorial text for some items, control indicators for keyboard players, fixes, and a few other tweaks to make the game more enjoyable.

Weekly Update #17+18:
- Added an overworld map!
- Added a few control indicators for keyboard players
- Text boxes now move out of the way if the player is on the lower half of the screen
- Wait, mysterious purple doors? What are those for?

- Fixed a few minor bugs
- Added a little tutorial thing after picking up the sword
- Tweaked the beam amulet a bit
- Made opening logos skippable
(I've been really busy so there's not a lot this week)

Demo v1.2 released!

Many things have been changed in the short time since the last update, I think it's important to post another. This includes things like hitbox tweaks, animation changes, and more sound effects and music!
