Zrdoom 5.0 is a mod that procedurally generates a maze like map with tough enemy combat... It starts out either easy or medium difficulty and ramps up every time you enter an exit teleport. Exit teleports rerun the generator, changing layout, textures, item placement and enemy placement on the fly using massive amount of ACS code.

The mod was based on tons of other procedurally generated doom Map mods I made and tweaked.... Currently I've tested it enough to know it works fine... Maps are very mazelike... Occasionally a map will break and get you stuck but that is rare...

Enemy difficulty is anywhere betwen normal doom and Hell Revealed... It varies... Expect tough combat with limited health and ammo...

This mod is compatible with gameplay mods that add in new guns and enemies... I've tested it with randomizer mods like Pandemonia and others... I also like playing it with DRLA a lot... Maps are really hard in that on standard difficulty...

In the first map, the back switch selects how many maps you have to play before the level ends, the right switch selects difficulty and the left switch starts the first map.

Unzip the .exe to a new folder called C:\zrdoom and place your doom 2 IWAD in the folder and run zrdoom.bat to play...

Run it with names of .pk3 files after it like this to play with mods in a windows run box:

C:\zrdoom\zrdoom.bat drla.pk3 drlamons.pk3

Another playthrough of Zrdoom 5.0, this time on the aptly named "Slaughterfest mode" difficuty configuration. I die twice here due to bad luck against cyberdemons. Gun bonsai used. It helped a bit. #doom #procedural

New zrdoom 5.0 build out. This one increases level room size a bit to make it more chaotic, and make the maps more intense... Less enemies in a room was a problem... Should make harder configurations have big hordes. #doom #procedural

I found it hard to make an algorithm in an ACS mod that made good architecture, and big open rooms... Due to that the maps will not really have slaughter combat like intended in harder difficulty configs. But they still will be hard. #doom #procedural

New build released with switches to select how many maps to do and how hard to make the maps... Left switch makes the map, right switch selects difficulty and back switch increments how many maps from 1-30 you have to beat to end the game. #doom
