The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives

After a couple of weeks of polish and tweaks, The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives is now ready to play. Have fun!

I've been polishing The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives for the past few weeks, getting it ready for its first release.

And now it's here on Game Jolt!

It's version 0.1.0 and will be part of my ongoing learning of Unity's Scriptable Rendering Pipeline.

My objective is to see if there are any unforeseeable shortcomings when a fully custom SRP is used in a game that is publicly available, so any feedback is welcome.

If you have any game-related display issues or encounter bugs, let me know by leaving a comment or sending me a shout.

Now have fun, and I hope you enjoy playing The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives.

I've set the download method to Pay What You Want. You can download it for free, but if you're feeling generous, feel free to throw me a buck which is always encouraging.

Thanks!

Added a Minotaur Statue that has a secret compartment hiding the key. You'll need to find the shiny red gems to open it if you ever want to escape the maze. All done with a little whack from your new arms.

I've added maps to The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives. Plus a few other changes.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Dive into the cozy post-apocalyptic open world of Critter Cove!

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

I was testing if I could push the butterflies away when running into them. So I turned the particle emitter all the way up. One million butterflies may have been a little too much.

I'm working on a new game. It's called The Thief Trap, and it's a small stealth sim where you have to steal a huge diamond.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Unity's Scriptable Rendering Pipeline no longer supports in-built Lens Flares, so I wrote my own.
