The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives

I've added maps to The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives. Plus a few other changes.

In the Update

  • New Feature - Maps! Find it in the maze.

  • New Maze Sizes - "Huge" and "Impossible".

  • Watch your step. There are lots more pits to fall into.

  • The results screen now tracks the number of chests opened instead of stones.

  • Fixed shadows not appearing.

  • Small gameplay, art, and sound improvements.

I finally have a bit more time again, so I've added some changes I've been wanting to make thanks to some feedback.

@Squid1nc suggested mazes to be 1000 times bigger. So I've added "Huge" and "Impossible" sizes.

The new map should help with navigating the much larger mazes, making it easier to keep track of where you've been without getting too lost.

Just try not to hold it up all the time once you find it. You might regret it.

I'm also currently working on a new project. I'll still come back to The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives from time to time, but I'm taking what I've learned here and stepping it up a notch.

If you want to know what it's about, follow me. I'll be posting works in progress pretty soon.

A quick Content Creator shout-out to these cool people.

I'm working on a new game. It's called The Thief Trap, and it's a small stealth sim where you have to steal a huge diamond.

I'm adding a new item to let you cheat! THE PEGASUS BOOTS. WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Been experimenting with post-processing effects in SRP, adding an outline and a painterly depth of field effect. There's also a new HUD to keep track of items picked up and how many lives you have left!

I was testing if I could push the butterflies away when running into them. So I turned the particle emitter all the way up. One million butterflies may have been a little too much.

Added flowers and fluttering butterflies. The butterflies are done using a particle system and animated using a shader.

After a couple of weeks of polish and tweaks, The Maze Where The Minotaur Lives is now ready to play. Have fun!
