Alpha 3.2 is now out. This one is a bug fix and improve quality of life. The next update will be Alpha 4 which has the new systems. Hit the Read article button on this post to see the full notes.

This build focused on annoying bugs and improving quality of life. Before making new features we focus on killing as many new bugs as possible or already existing bugs. We want to do this to improve the quality and improve player experience.

- When you die and choose new game you aren't frozen anymore.

- You can now properly load the game from a save file.

- The camera now properly goes to the correct room when loading a save file.

- Fixed a couple broken physics colliders in the save room corner, so no more falling into darkness.

- When picking up a new item the item box is in the top center of the screen. The box that tells the name of the items you picked up.

- Fixed the start screen text from overlapping the load box.

- Fix some issues you player goes through stairs and gets stuck.

For this one if you find any stairs you get stuck in please comment here and report it so I can fix it and maybe rewrite the physics formula to detect stairs.

For today's new art we got ourselves the low level boss door. It will end up animated with green fire in the eyes.

Alright after a crap ton of time we found a UI artist that can do pretty good. This is early Work in progress. We will release the next update when we get two menus screens done instead of waiting for all the UI to be completed. Look forward to it.

We wanted some of the walls in our game to be broken and crumbled. Not all of them being the same look so we also made tiles for broken walls where we can mix and match the tiles to make an unlimited amount of designs.

Working on some level design prototyping for some of the underground areas. Wanted to just share some things I am testing. Mainly having waterfalls as a background element for the caverns.

Got some of our favorite grim reaper's animations in with the first set of conversations with him. Will be in the next game build. Video showing off his little idle animation.

Added a small box with the speakers name in it, so players can see who is speaking. Going to start showing off some smaller work in progress stuff starting now up to the first alpha. Each post will be focusing on one change for the first alpha.

Mini Dev Blog 6 - Ambience VFX/SFX and Settings Menu Update. I started to add some VFX and some ambience SFX for parts of the game. The main thing left before finishing alpha one is the settings menu for controls, graphics, and audio.
