MISANTHROPY 0.8.9 IS RELEASING IN 20 MINUTES


I've done a lot more than I thought I'd be able to honestly.
I have decided to postpone the second boss animation, but I have done other things instead.

I've added some custom attacks for WATCHING.

I have added the Feather Dags, which hit an enemy 2x on one attacking turn, and the PMBlade (Papier Mache), which increases magic. These both are within the very first room upon starting the game, so you can now customize your starting weapon.

There is a new NPC in the first Void room. This NPC gives you the Torn Wings, which give decent early defense, but decreases your attack.

The Void Spiders now have a 40% chance of dropping the Spider Egg, which can be used as a healing item.

You now start with the PBB, which is a Peanut Butter Banana sandwich that heals 13 HP.

The player sprites have been finished.

The GUI has been updated and finished.

The chests have been customized.

New music has been added.

The second Void room has been redone.

There are less save points because they were too numerous before.

The main menu BG has been customized and finalized.

And my ass is in pain from sitting down for so long (Not part of the update)

I am probably forgetting a couple of things, but whatever.
I hope y'all enjoy the update when it comes out. It will be released at 8:50 AM.

(Learning color theory has got to be one of the best things I've learned, lmao. My shading has gotten soooo much better)

UI SPRITES HAVE BEEN COMPLETED AND UPDATED.

I didn't like the previous ones. Although they WERE unique, they were all too abstract and different. These match a bit more, while giving off a bit of different energy from one another.

I'm completely revamping Kris LW Battle sprites with my own ideas/flair. I'll be updating this GIF as I finish more and more sprites. So far, it has the IDLE, FIGHT, and DEFEND animations. (See the highlighted button to know which one)
