Had a visit from a kingsnake. They aren't aggressive, but I didn't get the greatest photo since it was feeling threatened and I didn't want to stress it out. They actually eat venomous snakes, so they're very important to have around.

Some more wildflowers I found. 
These didn't want to cooperate for a decent photo at all; this pic was the best of the bunch... They stand very tall and wave around in the breeze a whole lot.
