What do you think?

hey look cool , i would like help with the ost! anyway cool project

Just finished the demo, and I gotta say this is one of the most well-developed RPG Maker titles out there! I'm hooked on the story and can't wait to see where it goes!

Hey, started playing it and already made quite some progress - I love your game! Will I be able to keep my progress with future updates?

This seems really interesting

Looks amazing mate, can't wait for release!

Set in a fantasy world, you take on the role of Jimmy, a young hunter and amateur fisherman. Setting out from your town for an afternoon of fishing, things suddenly take a terrible turn!

You awaken at the shores of a land seemingly far from home, your boat wrecked, not really knowing what actually happened. Your only option is to find civilization and hope to find a way home. Not all is as it seems, as Jimmy will soon find out!

Enter the realm of Timeland...

The game takes inspiration from modern day issues, whilst being portrayed in an older, fantasy styled setting that is almost traditional for RPG's of this genre.

For those who dare take on the adventure, you'll enjoy well balanced random battles, a tiered progression of equipment and skills as the game progresses, interactive puzzles and a rich story.

This game features a multiple ways of playing. Don't want to fight? Want to become a force to reckoned with? Or perhaps you just want to play for the story only? All these are possible, and more.

Plus, with the Story Mode play through, you'll get to experience the games events in a different manner.

The last week or so has been spent revamping almost every map with atmospheric effects, as well as scripting the 'Story Mode' aspects.

The included image shows a snippet of the over-world with clouds & rain. This smoothly transitions from sunlight.

A quick video preview back at the Old Fort region. This is using 'Story Mode', which means no battles! Normally, this skeleton will chase you around the courtyard until defeated.

Additionally, I've also considerably improved the atmospheric affects here.

A small update on progress. I'm currently revising how the 'Play It Your Way' feature is done. A new "Story Mode" game mode is in the process of being added, taking away battles and risk, allowing you to focus solely on exploring at your own pace.

The descent down to the depths of the land has begun, the Gem of the Scorched is almost within reach!

My aim with these areas is to avoid the usage of boss fights to progress the game, instead challenging the player with puzzles and on map dangers.

A quick update showing a few refinements to the menu, item display and of course, on the fly menu face changes based on your characters health.

Work continues on QOL and refining existing content, although progress has been made on the desert region.

As part of some of the QOL changes and refinements, here is a quick WIP of the visual injury indicator on the menu, and the character now holds a torch at times. The players model will also visually change when their HP is low, but is not showcased here.

A small update on whats been going on:

A milestone was hit today, version 0.7.5 (dev) was finally hit. Work has now begun on the next region of the game, which will be this games final chapter.

If you are interested in playing the full dev build and providing feedback, please reach out to me.

A new demo has been published. This fixes a few progression issues that could occur. As always, feedback is always appreciated.

The demo has been updated once more. There should no longer be any more crash issues related to using 'Continue' over manually loading a save.

If you do have any further issues, please let me know!
