What do you think?

Ninja Rope - The Game! :-)

love it

Fun game, game music is a bit repetitive though

Cool game :D

Fling is a 2D platforming game with Grappling Hook as the only way to move.

Fling has simple, clean and minimal pixelated graphics, which makes the game easy to understand during gameplay.
Gameplay itself is focused around one key mechanic and that's moving with grappling hook. Everything else in the game is centered around this kind of movement.
Game features Endless mode in addition to 30 main levels. Fling is fun, challenging and addictive web game and it really tests your skills.

Controls:

  • Left Mouse Button - Shoot the hook

  • Right Mouse Button - Break the hook

  • Hold Left Mouse Button - Pull yourself towards the hook

Features:

  • 30 Levels

  • Endless mode

  • 3 types of hazards

  • 2 types of intractable objects

I made it so that both top and bottom are full of spikes, also I fixed some issues with camera and this moving wall with spikes.
Still need to figure out how to add more variety to this mode.

Endless mode is added to Fling...well, kinda. From technical perspective it works well. Now I only have to add content to it.
Let me know what you think.

I added sound effects and visual effects to Fling and they really add a nice touch to the game. Fling is now way more fun to play.
Let me know how you like it.

With previous couple of games that I've made I realized how important tutorials actually are. So here's what I've made for Fling.

Quick showcase of the game's main menu. It's clean, simple and very quick and easy to use.

"Windmill" level with new mechanic, rotating mechanisms. I have a version of these mechanisms with spikes as well. You need to take their speed in consideration when playing a level, which should make a game more interesting.

I made it so that level names give you little clues on how to play those particular levels - for example "Be Patient"

Another level with bouncy walls, though in this one I added lights as well to make it more challenging.

Here's showcase of a bouncy wall. It works exactly as it sounds, and I managed to create some interesting levels with this new mechanic.
The game has 20 levels in total for now.
Let me know what you think about the game and if you have any suggestions.

Let's dive right into making another set of levels!
Here you can see a new mechanic added to the game. If you light up all these lights the door at the end will open and you can finish a level.
