continuing making masterpieces

'Experience 1' is deffenely an oportunnity to expand the Hello Neighbor Fan-game horizons, in terms of gameplay construction...

amazing jumpscares

this fangame is really well done! i loved the style of horror that was used, and the lighting and mood of the game made it sort of uneasy while playing. although i have some issues and stuff.

i feel like you could've expanded upon the intro of the game, cause the way it transitions into the main game is pretty weird. i dont get why the main character instantly decides to move out because he had a nightmare about his house, so imo maybe make the intro part longer in the later builds.

the next thing is the neighbors AI. he seems super buggy in the state he's in, when i walked into the house he saw me through the wall and then for the rest of the game he kind of just stood in place and stopped chasing me even when i went into his line of sight.

the main level also felt more just like me hunting for keys to unlock more and more doors in the house and without the neighbor walking around there wasn't much of a challenge.

this is still a game in progress though and it has a ton of potential, these are just my opinions after all.

I think there should be some more graphical options such as being able to change the resolution. But besides that, I noticed a few bugs

the neighbor ai is kind of weird in the second level and even though there is no music and the door was shut, he kinda just came out of nowhere and grabbed me. In the first level, the door on my second attempt (because I reset; I thought the game was glitched) the door did not shut and I could go outside, also if you stand close to the window on the second floor of the first level you can throw things out of it even though you cant go through the window

This is a fangame of the popular game ''Hello Neighbor'' where you try to find out what your neighbor is hiding. But something doesn't feel normal.. you feel as something or someone is lurking behind your back...

I made up my mind, I'll start from the beginning, the development may be slow, but it'll surely be done at one point.

Since I started by making the prototype's house 2nd floor, I decided to remake it first.

This fangame will be put on hold temporarily.

Following my previous post, I managed to find an alternative for indirect lighting and it actually seems to perform well and look decent.

So, I tried indirect dynamic indirect lighting and it looks strangely liminal..

In the meantime have some screenshots of the scrapped ideas and tests that I have saved. If you perhaps want to see something from here in the game, comment below.
