What do you think?

A remake is in the works of the old TZ:Storyshift Chara fight for its upcoming 2nd anniversary.

What to expect that's different?

Changes:

• Completely redesigned original sprites made by me.

The old stuff not only was it made by someone that I don't want anything to do with. But it was all very generic. I have my own unique style that I'm using for this, and I think people are really going to love all of the new sprites.

● Major rework to the story.

The dialog I have planned is way more original than the old dialog. The old dialog was terribly rushed and was just not good one bit.

● A complete rework of both phases 1 and 2.

The original phase 1 was WAY TOO LONG. Also, some of the attacks were pretty boring. And if phase 1 is getting a full rework, we might as well rework phase 2.

● Removal of anything that was a reference to Facing Demons.

Though we are always going to have those few annoying people that say "Oh boy Facing Demons ripoff how original." It's not. The story I have planned. All the new different attack patterns that I came up with. The fact I didn't miss-gender Chara. None of that fan service crap. IGB doesn't own Storyshift Chara. Other people can make their own takes, too. Also, I haven't played Facing Demons in like 3 years, so I hardly remember much about the game. Kinda hard to ripoff a game if I don't remember much of it.

● Chara will have the correct gender and pronouns.

Chara is Non-Binary, not female. That was a huge mistake that needed to be changed for the remake.

(In Undertale Chara is canonically Non-Binary.)

You little booger!

I'd like to give you all a Core section update with a Chara encounter, as well as a Undyne fight, and a Sans fight in the future if the Chara fight performs well.

But ONLY if it performs well because there are other one-off fangames I want to develop too.

8 days without a spoiler, huh?

Here, take a wip animation of the pre fight dialog section as well as an early wip sample of the new phase 1 theme, which is a cover of Aider's Double-Edge Blade take. Cover being made by a composer by the name of Jaweazy.

Still hard at work, I just don't want to spoil everything!

But things are still going really well! Most definitely, coding will start by next week as well.

Here's a new room spoil for you all!

I've been very busy with work the past few days, so I haven't really gotten much done since the last post, but I'm about 70% done with the spriting and writing.
