After years of silence, a new location quietly resumes operation, presenting itself as cleaner, safer, and more controlled than anything that came before. During the day, the building runs without issue. At night, it’s left to you.

You’re hired as the night guard, instructed to watch the cameras, conserve power, and report anything unusual. The job sounds familiar. The building doesn’t.

As the nights go on, the animatronics begin to behave strangely. Some are clearly newer, moving with precision and confidence. Others are damaged—older models kept out of sight, their movements slow, unpredictable, and unsettlingly aware. They react to your presence as if they recognize it, even though you’ve never been here before.

Glitches appear where they shouldn’t. Sounds echo from empty rooms. Hallucinations blur the line between stress and reality. Fazbear Entertainment provides no explanations, only silence. Whatever happened here in the past was never documented—and whatever remains is still active.

Each night reveals fragments of a buried truth: this location isn’t a fresh start, and the danger isn’t accidental. The building holds onto what it’s been through, and it doesn’t want to be forgotten.

Five Nights at Freddy's REC is a fangame inspired by the atmosphere, gameplay, and style of the original Five Nights at Freddy's, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, and Five Nights at Freddy's Plus.

REC aims to feel familiar to long-time FNaF fans while introducing its own identity, focusing on mystery, psychological tension, and the idea that Fazbear Entertainment's problems didn't start suddenly-they evolved.
