Five Nights at Freddy's Overhauled

Requires FNaF 1 bought on Steam in order to play the full game, otherwise, you will play a demo consisting of two nights.

This project is a fan-made remaster of the original Five Nights at Freddy’s, built with the goal of staying true to the classic while pushing it further than ever before. It aims to enhance the visuals, overhaul and refine the gameplay, while also introducing a wide range of quality-of-life improvements that make every night smoother to play through

This project doesn’t just remaster the original — it redefines how you play it. Alongside upgraded visuals and some polish, you’ll find plenty of new features and mechanics that deepen the challenge while hopefully making the game more fun to play:

• Slightly Altered Presentation: Improved effects and shader work that bring a darker atmosphere.

• Extra Content: Plushies and cheats from the mobile version, now fully integrated.

• Modern Features: Pause menu, full options menu, and subtitle support for better accessibility.

• ~ ! IMPORTANT ! ~ Overhauled Mechanics:

  • Bonnie & Chica are now more aggressive, but can be stalled with clever camera usage.

  • Foxy can’t be stalled just by watching the cameras — you’ll need to stay on his feed to keep him in check.

  • Most importantly, Freddy can no longer be stalled in Camera 4B, forcing players to rely on the old right door strategy OR stalling him in Camera 4A if possible.

With these changes, FNaF Overhauled swaps out the cheese-strats found in the original game for skill-based gameplay.
